Diana Turner: Grade 8

At 10:00 a.m. on March 22, 2016, and at 7:00 p.m. on March 23, 2016, the 8th-graders presented their production of Mary Poppins in the auditorium. Behind the scenes, rehearsals were intense and exciting.

The eighth-graders worked extremely hard on the songs: “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” “Let’s Go Fly A Kite,” “Playing The Game,” “Step In Time,” “Cherry Tree Lane,” “Practically Perfect,” “Perfect Nanny,” and many more. They learned the choreography for many dynamic group numbers as well. With hours and hours of practice, the play took shape, and it ended up being a smashing success!
